Economic Sanctions, Export Controls, and International Trade Legal and Consulting Services

Our Mission

We furnish prompt and practical advice to help your business thrive

Companies are in the business of managing risk, and we strive to explain and minimize those risks in the complex world of international trade.  By providing clear explanations of the law and designing compliance programs that work within your company structures, we can help create a culture of compliance while keeping focus on business needs.

We work for you with dedication and loyalty

Whether it's a last-minute question about a pending deal or a more comprehensive review of policies and procedures, we provide responsive, timely, and clear guidance tailored to your unique situation.

We treat you and your business with respect

Your business may be an experienced exporter doing millions of dollars of business or a growing firm pursuing new opportunities overseas.  Either way, you can rest assured that we will work tirelessly to help you succeed. We approach every client with a focus on integrity, advocacy, and understanding.

We provide high quality service at a reasonable cost

Magellan Trade's business model requires us to be focused on the highest levels of service to all clients, while ensuring that we can compete with higher-cost providers.  To do so, we provide flexible arrangements that are designed for the specific needs of our clients.  We have the flexibility to work on any reasonable basis, including flat fees, hourly rates, retainers, or other alternative fee arrangements that larger firms resist.  We are happy to work with any clients to design the right strategy for all parties.

About Us

Reliable and comprehensive international trade-related support for you and your company

Magellan Trade is committed to providing smart, sensible, and cost-effective legal and business solutions for our clients.

Often, more than one area of expertise is required with international trade issues -- legal knowledge, business savvy, and practical solutions to build a culture of compliance. Magellan Trade will tailor its services to your needs while providing a cost-effective level of support you would typically receive from a high-priced law firm.

We have experience serving a wide range of clientele, including companies large and small, individuals, and foreign governments.  We value every client relationship greatly and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
